This Privacy Policy explains how Live Tech LLC ("Live Tech", "CoinHub.bid", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit coinhub.bid or use any of its features (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

In short: CoinHub.bid is an aggregator of auction listings. We collect the minimum we need to run a search service and an optional user account. We do not run advertising on the Service, we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your personal information.

1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

Live Tech LLC is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy.

Live Tech LLC

30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA

Privacy enquiries and rights requests: privacy@coinhub.bid

General and legal: legal@coinhub.bid

Telephone: +1 307-429-0744

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy covers information we process through the Service. It does not cover the independent auction houses, dealers, and sellers (each, an "Auction House") whose listings we display. If you leave CoinHub.bid, register to bid, or buy an item, you are dealing with that Auction House under its own privacy policy, and we have no control over, and no visibility into, what it collects or how it uses it.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you give us

Account information: first and last name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as a salted cryptographic hash — we never store or display them in readable form.

Optional profile details: telephone number, interface language, time zone, preferred display currency, and, where you choose to add them, postal address details.

Your activity in the account: saved searches and filters, watchlists, followed lots and Auction Houses, personal notes you attach to lots, and your notification and alert settings.

Correspondence: the content of enquiries you send to us, or that you send through the Service to an Auction House, together with your contact details and the date of the message.

Payment details (only if you pay us): if we ever invoice you for an optional paid service, payment is handled by our payment processor. We receive a payment token and transaction metadata — we do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code.

3.2 Information collected automatically

Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen and language settings, and referring URL.

Usage data: pages and listings you view, searches and filters you run, links you follow, and the date and time of each request, together with standard server access logs.

Approximate location: we derive an approximate country from your IP address using a MaxMind GeoLite database installed on our own servers, solely to preselect a sensible display currency. This lookup happens locally — your IP address is not sent to a third-party geolocation service — and it gives a country, not a precise location.

Diagnostics: if something breaks, our error-monitoring software (Sentry, hosted on infrastructure operated for us, not a public SaaS account) records the error, the page it happened on, browser and device details, IP address, and, where you were signed in, an account identifier.

3.3 Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary and functional cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies on the Service.

Session cookie — keeps you signed in and links your requests to your session. Necessary.

XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Necessary.

has_session — a simple marker that tells the site a signed-in session exists, so pages render correctly. Necessary.

i18n_redirected — remembers your interface language. Functional.

display_currency — remembers the currency you chose for displayed prices. Functional.

display_timezone — remembers the time zone used to show auction dates. Functional.

We may also use your browser's local storage to keep the same display preferences. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you block the necessary cookies, signing in and some features will not work.

3.4 What we do not collect

We do not receive, record, or process bids you place, prices you pay, invoices you receive, or payment details you give to an Auction House — none of that happens on our pages.

We do not deliberately collect special categories of personal data (such as data revealing health, religion, ethnicity, or political opinions), and you should not send such data to us.

We do not buy personal information from data brokers to build profiles of our users.

4. How and Why We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

To provide the Service: to display and search listings, to show prices in your currency and dates in your time zone, and to present the site in your language.

To operate your account: to register you, authenticate you, verify your email address, let you reset your password, and store your saved searches, watchlists, and notes.

To send notifications you asked for: alerts about lots, searches, or Auction Houses you follow, and upcoming auction reminders.

To communicate with you: to answer enquiries, to pass an enquiry to the Auction House you addressed it to, and to send service messages about your account, security, or changes to our terms.

To keep the Service secure and working: to detect and prevent abuse, scraping, fraud, and attacks, to enforce rate limits, and to diagnose and fix errors.

To improve the Service: to understand in aggregate which listings and features are used, and to plan improvements.

To meet legal obligations: to keep records, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4.1 Legal bases (EEA and UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

Performance of a contract — to create and run your account and provide the features you request.

Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure and available, to prevent abuse, to fix errors, and to improve the Service. We balance these interests against your rights.

Consent — for optional alerts and any marketing email. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information under applicable law.

5. Email and Notifications

We send two kinds of email. Service messages — email verification, password resets, security notices, and changes to our terms — are part of running your account and cannot be switched off while your account is open. Alerts and any promotional email are optional: you can change them in your account settings or use the unsubscribe link in the message. Our messages are sent from addresses at coinhub.bid.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose it only as described below:

Service providers acting for us: hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, error monitoring, search infrastructure, and — only where you pay us directly — our payment processor. They may process personal information only on our instructions and for the purpose we engaged them.

Auction Houses: only when you choose to send an enquiry or request through the Service to a specific Auction House. In that case we pass on the details you submitted so that it can reply to you. We do not otherwise hand your account data, watchlists, or search history to Auction Houses.

Legal and safety disclosures: where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority, or is necessary to investigate suspected fraud or abuse, to enforce our Terms & Conditions, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or us.

Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy continuing to apply to the transferred information.

Aggregated or de-identified data: statistics that do not identify you, which we may publish or share freely.

7. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and our infrastructure is operated in the United States and, for some services, in Europe. If you access the Service from outside those regions, your information will be transferred to and processed there. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on an appropriate safeguard such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where applicable). You may request details at privacy@coinhub.bid.

8. How Long We Keep Information

Account data — for as long as your account is open. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records longer.

Saved searches, watchlists, and notes — until you delete them or close your account.

Correspondence — normally up to 3 years after the exchange, so we can handle follow-up questions and disputes.

Server and security logs — normally up to 12 months, and longer where an incident is being investigated.

Error diagnostics — normally up to 90 days.

Records we must keep by law (for example, tax and accounting records where we invoiced you) — for the period the law requires.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold: encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, restricted administrative access on a need-to-know basis, and monitoring for abuse. Optional two-factor authentication may be available on your account — we recommend enabling it and using a unique password.

No online service can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, or if you discover a security issue in the Service, contact privacy@coinhub.bid promptly.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

Access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy;

Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete — most account details can be edited directly in your profile;

Delete your account and the personal information associated with it;

Object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on our legitimate interests;

Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;

Receive your data in a portable format where the right to data portability applies;

Complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@coinhub.bid from the email address on your account, or tell us enough for us to locate your records. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30 days, extendable where the request is complex). We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, and we will not treat you less favourably for exercising your rights.

11. United States State Privacy Rights

11.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)

In the preceding twelve months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email address, telephone number, IP address, and account identifiers); internet or other electronic network activity information (such as pages viewed and searches run); geolocation data limited to approximate country; and, where applicable, commercial information relating to a service we invoiced you for. These categories come from you, from your device and browser, and from our own systems, and are used and disclosed for the purposes set out in sections 4 and 6.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information, and may not be discriminated against for doing so. You may use an authorised agent, with proof of authorisation. Send requests to privacy@coinhub.bid.

11.2 Other US states

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and Oregon) have comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. Because we do not conduct targeted advertising, sell personal information, or carry out profiling with legal or similarly significant effects, there is nothing to opt out of — but you may still exercise your other rights, and appeal a refusal, by writing to privacy@coinhub.bid.

11.3 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browsers send "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals in different and inconsistent ways. Since we do not track users across third-party sites and do not sell or share personal information for advertising, these signals require no change in our behaviour.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@coinhub.bid and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Sites

The Service links to websites operated by Auction Houses and other third parties. Those sites have their own privacy policies and cookie practices, which we neither control nor endorse. Read them before submitting personal information there.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date above will change. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify registered users, for example by email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
